Of course they are not going to replace the beauty of real flowers but they would certainly be a great addition to your garden along with your real plants. Though I have nothing against using them only, but in my honest opinion they work best when you pair them with real flowers. Ask for a charged sample set and run a dusk test: charge time under cloud cover, runtime after a full day, and whether auto-on is reliable. That one test catches more quality issues than any brochure claim.
We tested all these models. I would say always pick metal stakes over plastic, they are more durable. And when it comes to batteries they use standard 300mAh NIMH batteries, they are not lithium batteries which helps you with easy shipping. Shipping rules for lithium-ion batteries are stricter and costly. Of course you can get 600mAh batteries too but it only makes sense if you live in a sunny environment. If you are not getting too much sun over the solar panels it would be almost impossible to fill the 600mAh battery during daytime. 300mAh is enough to power the flowers for 8 hours anyway.
